yup they moved up the release date!
“I’m really excited because it means the fans will get to see the movie earlier!” Clare told us. “It also reflects a lot of confidence in the film on the part of the studio to move it to a Wednesday release date so I’m really excited about that, too.”
THE RUNAWAY QUEEN is now available! Bathtub!Magnus and revolutionary!France for your enjoyment.
Friends, I am excited. As you may know, I have been working on a series called THE BANE CHRONICLES, based on Cassie Clare’s books—specifically, on the adventures of Magnus Bane.
My first offering in the series, THE RUNAWAY QUEEN, is NOW OUT.
It has everything a story really requires: Revolutionary Paris, a hot air balloon, great clothes, huge wigs, moving furniture, dashing counts, and a monkey. Oh, and the queen. And some vampires. And other stuff.
YOU MIGHT LIKE IT.
And here is a piece of ART created by Cassandra Jean after she read the story. BATHTUB MAGNUS. You’re welcome.

Feel free to enter all the contests for the most chances to win!
With each chapter, I’ll also give a few notes on the writing of it.
From the Divergent movie Facebook page…happening today!!
Entertainment Weekly will debut the exclusive first look at one of the faction symbols from the film.

Anonymous asked you:Hey Leigh! I was looking at the dates for the Fierce Reads Tour, but I’m a bit confused - forgive me! Is it like a discussion, or a hang out, or a book signing??
What is this glorious Fierce Reads of which we speak? Lemme tell you…
It’s awesome. Basically, Anna and Emmy and Jess and I (and Genn on some of the stops) have a chat—we talk a bit about our books, Anna throws a pen at someone, we answer all the questions you can think of (about writing, about each other, about spoilers, you name it), and then we sign and give away swag. There is usually much giggling, occasionally much mayhem.
You’ve got four very different authors with four very different books so it makes for a nice mix. Like Chex Mix, but with less pretzels and more ladies.
We’ll be touring from June 4th through June 19th and we’ll be all over the place, so do come see us. Dates and locations here.
And if we aren’t headed your way, try the event listing on my web site. I’ll be at some additional signings, cons, and fests throughout the year and I want to see your faces.
The books that will move you, inspire you, make you cry, make you think, make you laugh. Even if you read them in high school or college, you’ll have a different perspective on them now that yo…I promise these books will be good at any age, even if you’re 65!
His eyes shone when he looked at her, green as spring grass.
He has always had green eyes, said the voice in her head. People often marvel at how much alike you are, he and your mother and yourself. His name is Jonathan and he is your brother; he has always protected you.
Somewhere in the back of Clary’s mind she saw black eyes and whip marks, but she didn’t know why. He’s your brother. He’s your brother, and he’s always taken care of you.

I’m tweeting about what I’m reading for @this_is_teen’s #IreadYA week. Here’s a hint. What are you reading? #icons https://twitter.com/kamigarcia
